James is a working cinematographer in Toronto, tirelessly shooting for television and film. His credits and clients include 20th Century Fox, Discovery Channel, History Channel, National Geographic, CTV, Global,  CBC, Showcase, Alliance Atlantis,  Pepsi, Nike, and Bravo to name a few.
His work has taken him all across the globe where he has been privileged to work with some of the most talented people in the business and see and shoot the most beautiful places.

Starting in commercials in the nineties, James developed a critical eye for detail and formal lighting by working closely with many brilliant cameramen.  With thirteen feature films under his belt, it was time for some much needed trench warfare in television.  Demanding yet highly satisfying, this proved to be an indispensable training ground; where James was able to combine a guerilla film style with the elegance and traditional lighting of films and commercials. These are the properties that have made James’ name a requisite on many call sheets.
